Composite sandwich panels are manufactured by press bonding GRP onto a range of core materials to produce an attractive, yet functional, cladding / infill solution for a wide variety of new build and refurbishment applications.
Panels are tailor made to suit individual customer requirements, and combinations of thickness, colour and surface texture can be incorporated to provide a wide choice of design configurations.
Potential uses include:
CURTAIN WALLING SYSTEMS

Cores are pre-treated to ensure all-over adhesion and are press bonded to laminates resulting in a rigid structure and flexural resistance. The choice of cores can be influenced by cost, weight saving, physical characteristics, fire performance and / or insulation value and includes:
STYROFOAM
POLYURETHANE FOAM
PLYWOOD
PHENOLIC FOAM
DOOR BLANKS
The heat retention property ("U" value) of panels depends on the thickness and type of core material that is used. For example, panels can be manufactured to meet or exceed Document L requirements. Alternative skins such as aluminium and steel can also be used.
Fybacore products are generally available with a variety of edging details and cane be used in any working environment:
